About Us

Family that kick together stick together

Mission Statement

Employing the discipline of traditional Tae Kwon Do we strive to help each student develop true self-confidence through knowledge of the mind, honesty in the heart, and strength in the body. By supporting a “YES I CAN!” attitude, students acquire a positive outlook and work to be their best in everything they do.
We teach our students the importance and value of family and this is why our school is called Golden Tae Kwon Do Family Center, where the whole family can grow together.

Our Instructors

Our instructors have participated in the advancement of Tae Kwon Do. They have performed in many demonstrations. Not only this, they performed with the Korean All-Star Tae Kwon Do Demonstration Team in 1995. One of our instructors have made it to the Finals of 1996 nationals and Gold medalist in L.A. Open 1999. Our instructors has been in many touraments becoming gold medalist. They have experience in weapons call Sulsa-Do which is Korean Nija style, competition, and Tae Kwon Do self-defence instruction. Currenty our instructors are teaching in a school in Golden.

Students learn traditional Moo Duk Kwan and WTF Tae Kwon Do in a positive and supportive environment. Our goal is to teach not only the physical aspects of martial arts but also to instill a positive mental attitude and to help all of our students reach their full potential. We strive to help our students achieve “knowledge in the mind, honesty in the heart, and strength in the body”. The studio is very family-friendly and values participation by students of all ages. Many of our black belts began practicing with their children and now enjoy coming to class as a family activity. Our children’s classes are fun but also help young students learn to pay attention and the value of self-discipline. Our adult classes are great exercise and can be just the thing to beat the stress of a workday. We offer special classes as well, including sessions focused just on Olympic-style sparring or forms, black belt club for advanced students, and weapons instruction.
