Master
Douglas Kim
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Master Dok Kim began studying traditional Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do And WTF TaeKwon Do when he was six years old. Became very active in Olympic style competition. As a teenager he won numerous tournament awards. In 1989 Master Kim moved with his family to Colorado where he began studying Tae Kwon Do under renowned instructor Master Jung Lee. While studying in Master Lee’s Won Shim Tae Kwon Do Academy Master Kim advanced in Sul Sa Do, a traditional martial art focusing on self defense and weapons techniques, in addition to further pursuit of Olympic style competition. Over the years he has practiced a variety of martial arts including Yudo, Hapkido, Kumdo, and kick boxing.
In 2012 he was promoted to 7th Dan in Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do. Master Kim has taught traditional Korean martial arts in the Golden area for nearly Twenty years and has run the Golden Tae Kwon Do Family Center for the last Eighteen. In addition he has taught at Mitchell, Ralston, and Bergen Meadow Elementary Schools for a number of years and directs the Colorado School of Mines Tae Kwon Do club.

Felipe Flores
Master Felipe Flores was 10 years old when he began training under Grand Master Douglas Kim at Golden Tae Kwon Do Family Center.
In 2019 Felipe placed 1st at the US Open Hanmadang. He achieved his Master rank (4th degree Blackbelt) in 2020.
Felipe has been teaching Tae Kwon Do to students at elementary schools in the Golden area since 2017. He is also an instructor at Golden Tae Kwon Do Family Center under the guidance of Grand Master Douglas Kim.

Brad Hollenbaugh
Master Brad started training in Taekwondo in 1999, and has been training under Grand Master Douglas Kim at Golden Taekwondo Family Center since 2000. He advanced to the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in 2019. Accomplishments in individual forms competition include US Nationals competition 2017 bronze, 2018 bronze, and 2019 silver medals, and US Open competition 2015 bronze, 2017 silver, 2018 silver, and 2020 silver medals.

Paul Schulte
Master Paul Schulte began training in Tae Kwon Do under Grand Master Douglas Kim in 2013. He currently holds the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt. Master Paul has won gold medals in forms and power breaking events while competing in several U.S. Open meets. Master Paul is currently leading an after school Tae Kwon Do programs at a local grade school and is an Master for daily classes at Golden Tae Kwon Do Family Center.
